I bought a m2000 tactical last year, the price was right, I have yet to have any problems with it after 200-300rds. Does any one know of any aftermarket ad ons like side saddles, stocks, charging handle, etc being made? I bought a tube extension by flatland forge for it, and shorted the stock about 4". I know it’s a cheap ass shotgun but sense I have it I want to upgrade it a bit. I heard that the Mesa Benelli shell holder would fit, has any one tried this? It would be nice to put the rail version on it for a LPA rear sight. Any suggestions beside selling it?
I had one for a while and ended up trading it for an XD, which I traded for a springfield loaded, but thats a different story. It was a fun gun, but like you’ve noticed there was not a huge after market for it. It takes benelli charging handles, but after that they share no parts. I put a GG&G front sling mount from an 11-87 on mine. It fit after some dremeling. Good luck with your parts search, and enjoy the stoeger in the mean time. They are cheap and fun to shoot.
Thanks for the info. I was called GG&G about their charging handle and they said it wouldn’t work, thanks for letting me know other wise. Are there any modifications that need to be done? Also about the mag tube extintion, the spring that came with it would make the follower jam up so I put a Wilson Combat spring and follower in and it feeds fine, if anyone is thinking about buying the extintion. Did you trade straight across for the XD?
I sold the XD with some extra mags an m3 light and a custom holster (made by a friend for free) and then put another $150 into it. I got a pretty good deal on the Loaded, so that helped. ![]()
That sounds like a real good deal. How do you like the loaded?
