I have a Stag Model 2.
On the stock is a metallic sling mount. I use a TAB Gear 2 point sling and dont utilize this bottom sling mount.
It is held to the stock in a groove with a sling. It gets in my way.
I removed the screw that holds it in, but the screw will not come out. I didnt try to force it and thought I would ask yall for guidance in removing it…other than forcing it out and possibly end up breakin sumthin.
Does anybody have any experience with removing this screw?
Is there a replcement “wedge” that can be put in the sling mounts place?
Any help would be appreciated.
