Southpaw: Ejection pattern? Too litle gas?

Assembled a 14,5” middy. Barrel is a DD 16” that was cut down to 14,5”. Shot 500 rounds so far without any malfunctions.

I’m a lefty though and brass gets ejected att 4 o’clock / 5 o’clock often hitting my support side shoulder or earmuffs which can be annoying. With a flow through can ejection pattern shifts to 3 o’clock.

I know the ejectionpattern doesn’t tell the whole story and so far the rifle runs flawless.

But what are my options? Softer bufferspring / lighter buffer weight (3oz Carbine installed now)? Could a adjustable gas block help? Do most adjustable gas blocks ”open up” more ob higher settings than a normal low pro gasblock or is the gas port the limiting factor?

Adjustable gas blocks only limit existing gas flow.

To be honest, it sounds like its perfectly set up for suppressed shooting.

Agreed. Your only option would be to have the port reamed a little larger. That would be blasphemous to most of us here though.
