lol, wanted to try his slide stops and go back to square notch rear sights for a while (love me some U but shoot too many diferent platforms with square). John LOVE the slide stops man, favorite by far. the rear sights are REALLY nice too very well done. both installed by mars on my two mars guns
My slides are being milled for those sights right now, I’m very excited yours look great.
I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of looking at Steve’s work, and I love all the Harrison parts I’ve used so far. Right now I have one of John’s ignition kits, rear sight, and slide stop in my Springfield. Slide stop is on its way home from Brownell’s; when the finish wore a little there was pitting underneath so I sent it back for an exchange. Last time I was in Steve’s shop he mentioned that he was considering the Harrison slide stop for future builds, which is pretty cool. It might look a little non-traditional, but it works great.
Yeah u can blame/thank me for that, lol. I had him do these two and he is putting one on my 9mm too
Nice! I have gotten rid of all my U notch sights for square, my Valor now wears a Harison rear. I found I shoot a lot better with square. How was the fitup for the rear sight? Mine pretty much pushed in by hand…
mine weren’t that lose, had to fit them a little. about perfect
