Just to let the masses know, there have been some claims as of late with other re-sellers, calling their PVS-14 “Direct from the factory, Factory built, etc.” It’s important for your hard-earned money if you choose a FACTORY PVS-14’s insure it’'s at least completely AND direct built from the factory of the branding of the unit advertised.
[b]Please know for a fact our ITT Night Enforcer (NE-PVS-14-17) units are indeed factory built units from the tube install and all other fabrication installation points ARE ALL FROM THE ITT FACTORY. We do not install a single component in this true factory built system.
To further validate a TRUE FACTORY UNIT, all our Night Enforcer units come with a Pre-Paid ITT UPS Mailing label and along with a ITT RMA tag in the unlikely event of a warranty return. [/b]
Unlike other re-sellers who claim “factory direct” this or that for other PVS-14’s they offer. This is not the case, they are shop built and not from the “factory”. This should always be asked, WHO actually built the unit if claimed “factory” in a description along with who is the warranty from?
Just one component used (such as a tube install) in a PVS-14 does not mean factory built period. We see too much of this “factory” claim marketing which is not true.
Consumers should demand if a re-seller uses “factory built”, to ask who built what? That should be demanded and asked for with “factory built claims”.
We have sold such an large amount of FACTORY ITT UNITS ASSEMBLED, TESTED AND WARRANTY THROUGH THE ACTUAL ITT FACTORY FOR A REASON. Our customers know and trust the 6th largest ISO 9100 qualified defense contractor vs. a shop of some sort building a $3400+ device with a shop warranty.
We also offer NON-Factory units for a lower price for an economical price for those who do not demand a factory ITT or L3 unit.
We hope this clarifies some of the claims we are seeing out there in the market place.
