This was designed as a suppressed only upper, thus the smaller gas port. It does run unsuppressed, but not optimally, and needs to be run on full power loads, not PMC Bronze. When run suppressed, it’s one of the smoothest shooting uppers you will ever shoot. Compare this barrel setup to a Sionics RGP for example.
This upper was purchased brand new, by me, last year. It has had NO MORE than 200 rounds through it. All gunsmithing work was done by the professionals at ADCO. If you run a suppressor, this is one of the best options on the market right now.
Price: This cost me almost $1500 with gunsmithing and parts. I am looking for $600 plus shipping. And yes, it includes the factory Colt CH and BCG.
