BTW, I was wondering if it’s possible to make a variable power magnifier, this way you won’t have remove it to get back to 1x.
Heck you can even skip 2x and 3x and just make a magifier that switches back and forth from 1x to 4x! Kind of like the Elcan Spectre…
I’m there’s probably a lot of issues designing such a magnifier but it sure would be cool!
The magnifier is again back to the perverbial drawing board. They have changed a couple things to meet both military specs and to meet the needs of our customers. We are releasing two versions. One will be the complete system, which includes the magnifier, mount and sight with BDC reticle. The other will simply be the magnifier and mounting interface and sold to retrofit with existing holosights.
Both will be out by January (Shot Show).

Any status updates on the magnfied EOTechs? I’m also interested to learn more about the magnifiers, which I heard about, that will fit the older EOTech models.

I’m excited to hear there will be a BDC with the new eo-techs, I would love to hear any more information you can share about the sight, including the power of the magnification, and the expected total retail price with the magnifier. Hopefully it will be less than the current eotech plus the current 3x mag. and mount!

All I can say at the moment is that progress is very good. We have been showing the latest prototypes at some shows and to some ‘groups’: it is being well received. I haven’t been given the ok to post info as of yet. If you want to give me a call, please do.
Sounds good! I am one of the odd folks that finds the current reticle distracting, but I am always glad to see positive progress in the firearms industry, even for products I don’t use.
I’ll admit that if I spent the time with EOTechs, I am sure I could grow to accept or even like the current reticle. Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait for longer battery life. Keep up the good work.

just saw them in the new eotech flyer. HOLY CRAP i told them to order me one with out even knowing the price and really i dont care. Ive got the 3x coming with quick flip mount. My dreams have come true!!! so… whats he price??? on both the 3x and 4x or the 557 i think i see a new gun in my future to but one on.
