I bought an SOC-C pack when they first came out and found that the long universal loop was exactly the right size to wrap around a set of M4-type oval handguards. Add a zip tie through a vent hole to make sure it doesn’t move around and this provides an excellent way of attaching a sling at the rear of a normal set of handguards.
But when I ordered a couple more long loops I found that they are a little shorter and won’t fit around oval handguards. Is this a change to the size or is this simply a tolerance that worked in my favor before but against me the second time around? Would it be possible to get a half dozen green loops in the older, slightly longer version?
