Not that anyone cares but I’m done here. I re-signed up (couldn’t use my old account no matter what I tried) just to say that. Not that the new owners care either. I think they are literally trying to run M4C into the dirt. Never thought I’d say TOS is my best option now but it might be. I just have to weed through all the ass hats first.
I will still monitor for a while to see if things get better. But if they don’t just know I’ve sure enjoyed talking to so many of you. And I appreciate all the great info I’ve gotten over the years. I’ve gone from a rank beginner with our platform to somewhat competent thanks to ya’ll! Godspeed with whatever your mission in life is.

Gunhub.com has all the infrastructure but is tumbleweeds, if we gin up enough posting we might get the owners to give us some new subfirums.
Remember the old “Black Rifle” forum? I loved that place! It kind of fell apart towards the end, but man what a ride! 
Not really, but I’m sure I was there. Was on so many forums 2000-2010 I couldn’t begin to remember them all.
There are a number of us in the same boat. I’ve been trying to get my original account restored for a week as well, and I’ve been emailing back and forth with others too.
I had the same problem. It turns out that my old password was to short (has to be 10 chars in length minimum) so I hit the lost password button & made a new password and Boom! Old account back up & running. Good luck to all

How can I find the threads I have participated in?
Under my account activity I can find the threads I have started and my replies, but not a list of threads I have participated in.
Just don’t know about this site. I used to visit it daily for info and such but this is bad. Maybe later.
Once a great gun forum this site now seems to be dying a fast death. I mostly now visit pistol training.com or even the other site.

Proposal: let’s use this thread or create another one to post issues that we would like the site admin/owners to address. This may require us to document via screenshots or similar what’s going on, the problem we are seeing.
We probably need an issues log, and ideally admins / owners/developers would ask questions as needed and indicate whether these are being worked or not.
Lack of feedback or attempts to address the issues is what’s leading to the despair and folks just giving up. Which none of us want.
Biggest issues I see:
1)The first time login issue needs to be improved so folks don’t lose their usernames. And there should be a process that long time users can get back their usernames and status if something went wrong with the initial login.

formatting still needs tuning. There are some major usability issues depending on which device you use, and definitely suboptimal for others.

missing images in the past articles needs to be addressed over time

Example of one of the formatting issues I see which is an annoyance, but probably should be addressed over time.
On an Android mobile device there are three largely duplicate ad blocks stacked at the top showing the same exact content. And they flicker by so fast it’s just noise.
Since it’s the same advertisers and largely the same exact ads this seems to be the result of adaptive HTML/CSS formatting moving ad blocks that would normally be spread out on a page up to the top.
See picture below.
Hopefully this displays okay, but from a user perspective 2/3 of the screen is covered with ads which are made up of three rotating blocks showing the same ads from the same manufacturers. Though the timing varies slightly between them

That thread regarding login issues was created an hour after my post.
Seems like a workable solution for the login issue so issue number one is remediated.
Not sure what the issue is. I just scroll the ads off the top off page page. Seems a lot better than forums that continue to insert ads as you scroll down through threads or replies within a thread.
Now ya see 'em.

Wasn’t sure if you’d seen it, but wanted to make sure you did just in case, along with anyone else coming into this.
Can’t speak for the site but as a mod, I like your idea of one centralized “Gripes/Glitches/Bugs thread”.
