M4C Account Access Issues... (Aug '24)

There are a number of folks having issues with access to their old/ original M4C accounts and have created new ones as an attempt to circumvent the issue.
The IT/ Development team is aware of this and are working whatever fixes on their end.

Until such time as IT creates the FIX, I will be “fixing” on my end.

IF YOU HAVE ACCOUNT ISSUES WITH AN OLD/ NEW ACCOUNT, YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Msg me with both you old account info (Screen Name/ Email address associated to the account) and your current Screen Name (obviously the account you currently have access to)
  • Regardless of whether or not you have access to the old registered email account, you must provide me with the email address so that I can verify your information.
  • Once I have you old and new account info, I will contact you to explain the options for the accounts going forward.

Hello, my old username was “Bogart” and the email for this account was (PII removed by 1168)

My new username is NC_Parrothead.

I would like my old account reactivated please.

Both have the same email.

I’ve searched to try and find a way to PM, but I can’t find a way to do it. Are new users blocked from PMing?

@BigBoss Here’s another one that needs fixed.

I don’t know how the messaging works as far as new users go.

I changed his trust level to basic, maybe that fixed it. His original account was never deactivated, it shows that it’s active.
