My LGS had a program that for every $50 spent you got a ticket that went into a drawing for a DD 16 AR15, DD 7.62 suppressor, 12 of their 32 round mags and 500 rounds of PMC practice ammo. We joked around that some girl that bought her boyfriend a holster would win it. Was not the case, my Buddy won the entire package. He said he never won anything in his life.
He bought two G17’s so he had a few tickets. Good for him as he is a good guy and retired detective after 20 yrs on local force. Thanks to DD for their part in the offering, pretty darn generous. Im not sure how much was DD and how much the LGS, either way both were generous.
D.D. was very generous over the years to the Friends of NRA. I gave away a BUNCH of their rifles in raffles and they cut us some really good deals on the guns. While I’m currently not very happy with the NRA, the FNRA monies raised go to ranges, safety, and gun education. Through the support of companies like D.D. my committee raised $150,000 over 5 years. In turn, we granted back almost $100K to our local range for their 1000 yd range. Without companies like Daniel Defense, it is not as easy to do. D.D. guns sell raffle tickets like hotcakes.
