Interesting exposé done by the local Seattle ABC affiliate on what socialist leadership and polices have done to a once beautiful city. The city council there has tied the hands of the police so badly that to say that the inmates are running the asylum is a truism and not an exaggeration. A quote from an officer who had finally had enough and retired early really stood out to me: “We’re running a concentration camp - without barbed wire - upto and including the medical experiment of poisoning these people with drugs.”
Notice that this video was posted March 19, 2019, over three years ago. Before Covid-19 and BLM and Floyd “mostly peaceful riots.”
AFAIK Seattle has gotten dramatically worse since 2019. Still a relevant video, but not current.
I never lived in Seattle, but wanted to. By the time I could have made it happen (c. 2013), Seattle was very sick and outrageously expensive. Since then it’s gone totally down the drain.
The problem with that attitude is that “they” can mean different things. Plenty of people in that area, probably many of the people who have been there longest, didn’t actually vote for the crazies and simply have to live in a roach and bed bug infested environment because of the poor choices of their neighbors.
Seattle was dying in 2019, now it is on life support with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel…Portland is trying it’s damnedest to keep up.
Seattle, Portland, San Francisco. On any given day it’s the Trifecta. Next up would be Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix. To round out the bottom third, Boise, Missoula, Santa Fe or Albuquerque!
It’s actually kind of sad. Used to be a really neat city once upon a time. Of course CA was a really beautiful state once too and look what became of that.
Huntsville Alabama, just named Best City in America…has a large homeless population, and its growing.
I have never seen a city grow in 5 years like Huntsville has. The cost of living is pushing a lot of folks out, across into Tennessee where Im at, and to other places.
Crime has gotten noticeably worse over last 5 years, the past three especially. I can easily see Huntsville/Madison County turning “blue” in the next 3-5 years due to the influx of people
moving there from lib states.
Truth be told- as Ive said on here a dozen times, as a former OTR driver for 13 years, Ive been to nearly every major city in America many times over…aint ONE that didnt look like a B grade 70’s sci-fi movie once you got off the main thruway, and Ive been off the road since '07. It has to be unimaginably horrific now. I remember one of my first times in Philly back in the mid nineties…looked like Beruit Lebanon THEN.
Now, as people finally get tired of it…they are moving into rural areas and taking the very libtarded ideals that caused all the ruin with them. Liberalism is a demonic cancer that has produced NOTHING but pain, misery, suffering and a low standard of living & quality of life…except for the elite who promote it. DAMN all of them.
