It’s called the Mazda (must have a rotary firing mechanism) and it fires some kind of new 6.2mm, pistol caliber, sniper round.
Anybody have any more info on this thing?

I heard something similair as well from a few people I know. They heard from somebody that it’s been being used for about 3 years now. They said one special round won’t penetrate mud walls but will punch through 4" armor like butter.

A Korean company is going to introduce the K1A, a 1.2MM version of one as well…With a 100,000 round unlimited warranty. With dealer loaners if one need to go to the smith for repairs.

Yeah…joke. There are still just stupid rumors and inaccurate info flying all over the place. Its like people dont read anything. Those that dont like it (despite not even hanlding it) are now calling it the Mazda. I predicted the rumors would start when I posted the below comment the other day.

When you say SEAL/s, who do you mean? The teams use the M4 and won’t be issued these weapons, including the SCAR (anytime soon). The Jedi’s (NSWDG) will be the only ones getting these weapons.
Team 2 is currently fielding SCAR’s in Iraq but that is a rare occurrence and most likely more “political”. Like FNH using it as a selling point to other MIL/agencies.
