Geezus Effin Christ, can you believe the volume of FAKE SEALs and SF guys that are floating around now-a-days?

Myself & several buddies have been complaining about this for years. It is amazing how many Seals, Recon & Delta guys there are in the world. Usually when someone tells me they were SF I usually tend to discount everything they say unless they can prove the point. I’m sure that this tend so piss off real SF guys but that’s the way it goes. I had a buddy of mine who was a Marine tell me he was talking to a guy who was suppose former Recon. So my buddy starts drilling him with questions. Needless to say the guy failed. I just don’t understand it. I was in the Marine Corp Reserve for all of 2 1/2 years & thats exactly what I tell people when they ask. No I did not see combat, no I can not kill you with the ninja death stare. I’m just a guy who happend to join the Marines.
Lets not forget the fake Rangers too. One was busted in Texas, and he was not only a police officer, but a noted firearms instructor.
There is also a gray zone, such as when someone claims they were an Airborne Ranger, yet were only airborne and Ranger qualified, with no time in a Ranger Bn. Or, when someone claims to have been in SF and implies that they were on a team and thus graduated from the Q course, yet really served in a support role.
Nobody likes a man who lacks honor.
