SBR Steps to take?

I tried a search and didn’t really find what I was looking for which is basically this:

What exactly do I need to do to get a 10" barrel upper in .300blk?

I have read some things about NFA and a $200 tax etc., but what are the steps I should take in your experience that work the best?

I have a spotless record, over 21, and live in Indiana if that helps.

Go read the sticky ‘how to sbr your lower’ in the nfa section, then read every thread related to that for the last month or two. All of the info is there.
