Does anybody know anything about these guys? I saw some of their stuff on silencertalk and it looks pretty nice. If they don’t have the outrageous wait time of RCS and they’re a reputable company, I may just buy one.
Because you decided to slam RCS, I’m going to just say go buy the damn thing if it’s so important to get one so fast. Jeez.
Real mature response. I didn’t slam RCS. RCS Has an outrageous wait time because they build a quality product. I have a need for some Kydex now, not in four months so I was looking for a quality alternative until my RCS gear gets here. I have an order in with RCS for a light bearing holster for my P30 and mag pouches but in the mean time, I have a serious need for mag pouches for my rifle and pistol and can’t wait for months to get them. I was looking for a quality alternative to get me by.
I don’t know about ROC, but Bladetech and Comptac have been around for years and have outstanding products. Maybe they can solve your kydex needs right now if you don’t have the time to wait for your Raven gear.
I’ve heard good things about ROC, and I believe their wait time is closer to Bladetec’s i.e. 3 weeks. Since they don’t make one for anything I shoot, I obviously haven’t ordered anything from them. On their website it says to ask them if it’s not shown, but they always reply back no.
Check out www.psholsters.com for high quality kydex, too. Steve is a good dude, a member of this forum, and makes excellent kit. His turnaround time is about 45 days, if that works.
+1 on Comp-Tac gear. This is a great outfit to deal with, their prices are competitive and wait time is like around four days. (If you are LE/Mil there’s a price discount too.)
I recently picked up their Belt mounted light holster for my G19/X300. The fit, construction, worksmanship and quality is equal to anything out there, and I find the holster rides a bit lower and a bit further away from the ribs. That translates, at least for me, more comfort w/o loosing concealment.
No dig here on Raven…wouldn’t want to be criticized :suicide2:…and I use their gear, but Comp-Tac is a good alternative.
