Rock River Arms LPK???

My local shop has RRA LPK’s in stock. I need a LPK for a build, I am not using their trigger. Has anyone had any issues with these.

I try to use LMT small parts, but finding them avaiable right now has been difficult!

The front takedown pin on mine is not milled correctly and rubs against the receiver.

RRA LPK on a Superior Arms lower.

I used one and it worked fine. I have a few more to use (and also have RRA LPK for sale) and will be sending the triggers off to Bill Springfield.

Everything works ok, don’t like the trigger…

I’ve used 5 RRA LPKs without incident, I swapped two of those triggers out for match triggers but the other 3 have not been bad. RRAs triggers are alot smoother than the Bushmaster or DPMS kits.

I don’t see the issue with the takedown pin Bob, looks like you have it canted at about the 11 o’clock position. Are you talking about the corner of the flat spot on the pin?

Yes, the flat spot of the pin is not correctly milled. There’s no way I have it installed incorrectly because the detent groove prevents that. It rubs on the receiver.

Hit up RRA, I’m betting they’ll send you a new one.

Jack, for what you’re doing I’d either order Colt parts from Brownells or Grants parts that I emailed to you in the link.

I would have done the Brownells thing but it takes patience to get a full kit as they never have every single thing in stock at any given time. You have to buy what you can now, and then check back and re-order when the rest comes in. And I’ve never had any luck at all with Brownells backorder system.

Thanks Man. I went ahead and just installed the RRA LPK. Everything went into the Sand W lower just fine. I am using the Geissele SSA trigger so their trigger is a non-issue for me.

I will run this witht he new upper and if it holds up I will be happy. I will find a LMT LPK somewhere to have on hand if I need it.
