I inherited a Remington 700 BDL in 30-06. Rifle was built in 1971 according to barrel stamp. The trigger guard is still in place, but it is broken on the front side. It is gloss black (blued) metal. Pretty sure it is original.
I’d like to replace it with a factory original part. I believe the part number is F26371
Let me know what you have, or if you know of a worthwhile replacement. The original part seems to be out of production and out of stock everywhere.
