I purchased a almost new Remington 700 SPS Varmint from a cousin to help him out. I decided to make a project out of it. I’ve fired it only a few times after completion. I simply don’t really need it and decided to part with it to purchase some glass for a current build.
Base rifle was a 700 SPS-V, 26" bbl
Barrel was professionally cut down to 23 1/2" and a recessed target crown applied
The metal work was done in black matte Gun Kote
Bedded to a black spider-web H-S precision stock
Factory X-Mark trigger tuned to about 2.5 lbs
Leupold standard bases/rings
Mueller 8.5-25x50 illuminated target scope, 1" tube
This rifle was a great shooter from the little I fired it with 39 gr Sierra BKs. I hate to let it go, but simply don’t need it.
