I have recently built with two CMMG lower parts kits.
I’m nearly floored by how nice these “stock” triggers are. Nice weight, crisp clean break… Did I just get lucky, or has the quality of these significantly picked up lately?

I would be impressed if the quality of anything CMMG picked up lately. Not alot of CMMG love on this site.
I had one in my first AR that I built myself… it’s always worked well, and I wasn’t the only one impressed with it. Maybe I got lucky too.
Ha ha… Thank you for the head’s up! CMMG has always been as exciting as Wonder Bread to me, but I’ve never had any issues. Their lower parts kits have always been a no-brainer, but I was really surprised by how nice these triggers were, even bone dry.
So do they do a polish job like the ALG’s or what?
No, Looks a typical ho-hum trigger group, nothing special. Contact points are very clean.
So why is this in this forum?
To all concerned.
The custom build area is a place to show off/discuss and ask questions and get feedback about your completed custom build (this means a completed AR that is functional and already completed). If you are going to post pictures of your build, please post a complete picture not just your parts, partial lowers, etc…
Also, buying an upper separate and then a lower and throwing them together does not constitute a custom build. It would be nice if you took time to explain how you came to your decision and explain your set up. Thanks.
If you do not follow the guidelines and your post disappears it’s probably because it was moved to the trash or deleted.
