Raven Phantom Holster and Threaded Barrel

I have a full size M&P9 and plan to order a Raven Phantom holster soon. In the future I want to install a threaded barrel so I can shoot suppressed. Does anyone know if there’s enough room in the front of the Phantom holster to clear the threaded portion of the barrel that will protrude from the slide? I’m guessing this to be approximately 1/2 inch.

Just went through this for an M&P 45. When you order type in the comment section that you need one for an extended barrel, and they will take care of it.

Thanks Gene. Is it safe to assume that the extra space will not affect the way the holster holds the pistol–i.e. the pistol will still be properly supported by the holster and have extra clearance for the threaded barrel.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but I don’t have the holster yet. I just ordered it Saturday, so I still have a little time before it arrives. When I contacted Raven about it, I was assured it’s no problem and judging by what I’ve seen of their work I have no doubt it will support the pistol fine.

If you are going to use a thread protector with the threaded barrel you probably need to let Jay or Mike know also. Raven holsters are pretty tight so the the thread protector maybe a no go if allowances are not made. Just a thought…

Good thought, I would have to agree and I’m sure Jay will take care of you.
