Question for Shockwave Blade owners...

If you’ve got the Shockwave Blade brace, does it stay tight over several hundred rounds?
I’ve seen some videos where they shoot loose.
I know you have to use some LocTite on the screw, just wondering how tight it stays over time.

Thanks.

Mine shook loose, I added LocTite and after 50 rds of 9mm, it’s staying put so far. Time will tell.

Bought mine with a specifically designed buffer tube that locks the shockwave brace. I have about 500 rounds through with no issues. However my form 1 came back recently and I’m looking to sell my shockwave with specially designed buffer tube. P.m. if you’re interested

I’ve never put mine through a torture test, but in the few hundred rounds I’ve fired haven’t shook mine loose.

I think using the recommended buffer tube with slots is the only way to go on this. I think KAK sells the entire kit for $95.

That’s the kit I used on my build, and no issues so far.

Thanks for the replies.
Decided to give one a try.
Should be here next week.

Using there tube where it locks in. Thing is g2g

Any updates?

Did not know about the more stable buffer tube with the holes in it. VERY interesting…

Yes!
Wanted to post a pic, but haven’t uploaded it yet.
Got the FDE Blade and the buffer tube with dimples in it.
Torqued it down with blue LocTite on it.
Doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere after two quick trips to the range.

I like it!

Pretty pleased with the way it came out.
