Question About Troy BUIS Rear Sight Windage Adjustment

I have a quick question about the Troy BUIS rear sight adjustment features.

I noticed that SKD sells a version with a detent for the adjustment wheel, similar to what say, a DD 1.5 sight uses.
I recently got a BCM version from BCM, and it too has the detent for the windage wheel.
This made me rather happy as I liked this feature in the DD sight.

The question is, as I was under the impression that the BCM version was simply a re branded standard Troy BUIS- does this mean that even the standard Troy sights now have this feature?
Or are the BCM/SKD versions the only ones?

Your kidding right?? GH

Unfortunately no.
Yeah, I know- I get the “dumbass of the week” award for two retarded questions in a row… :haha:

The reason I asked, is as stated in the original post- SKD specifically specifies two separate sights- no other retailer’s website, or Troy themselves specifies this.
Other sites say “clicks” but my Aimpoint adjustments “click” too and there’s no detent I have to press there…
So this sort of led me to believe there must be a “Gen1” and “Gen2” version- once I got the BCM one, I wondered if there was still “Gen 1” sights without the detent floating around out there, hence some of the lower than average prices I’ve seen here and there, almost like folks were trying to dump an old version for the new stuff.
What can I say- the last and only folding sight I had was an MI ERS on my first rifle, I’ve been using a DD 1.5 fixed sight until now, and I haven’t really been around enough Troy BUIS to say how they currently work…
