The target was not as good as the one you posted, but I did not think it was too bad for the first few rounds out of this build.
Will give it another go in the next couple weeks.
Then time to start gathering reloading supplies to roll my own.
Have not come to a clear decision as far as powder and bullets.
Bullets are not a problem to order on line, most likely SMK’s.
Powder will be up to what is available in my area.

First off… this is a dang sight harder to do then I “expected”… Lol
The quarters are just dark enough for me and my cheaper scopes … to make seeing where I hit difficult.
No excuses being made… just commenting on some of the PITA aspects of shooting 10 “Bullseyes” in a row at 100yds.
This target is an excellent way to hone your trigger skills and bench skills.
A easy to grasp and use rear squeeze bag is mandatory.
Hopefully … if no one minds… I am going to see if I can find a more accurate ammo and keep trying…

Rifle info for the first 10 quarters Target… Certainly not the first try !! , This target #6 of 8 with this rifle… the rest were … decent, but, this was the best. DANG Fliers !!

Yes I realize there are 11 shots… frankly, I couldn’t tell if I had actually hit “Quarter 6” ( I thought I had put it in quarter 5 twice ) and took another shot… flubbed it on shot 7/ quarter 6 did have a hole … So this is just me feeling better about myself… Lol
Molon…I do have a question for you regarding a more accurate ammo.
I realize that no two barrels are alike… ever… but the Fed. Tipped Varmint just isn’t capable of less then 1 MOA…( as far as my ability goes )
I can get “good for what it is” groups…( practice from the Quarter MOA day, ignore the shots above 10 inches, just trying some cheap 55gr FMJ )
9 shoots…
But since I can’t seem to quite get under 1 MOA… I feel like another ammo is in order.
Do you have suggestions ?
Nosler CC 77gr seems promising.

Beautiful morning in Wisconsin for attempting this challenge.
Learning about the new build such as, fire a single fouling shot after scrubbing the bore cause it will be about an inch low using the Norma match ammo 
Purchased some Norma match from Midway last week cause I got a birthday discount.
Norma match shot a little better than the Winchester match from a couple weeks ago out of my Lija.

9 out of 10 hits; excellent shooting! Overlaying all ten of your “quarters” on each other produces a 10-shot group with an extreme spread of 0.74" and a mean radius of 0.24". Again, excellent shooting!

Has anyone done anything to an ejector so you do not have to chase your brass.
I could probably set up my net that I use for bullseye pistol.
I only single load from a Bob-Sled.

Nosler 77 grain Custom Competition HPBT
This ammunition uses Nosler’s 77 grain OTM projectile with a cannelure, loaded in Nosler brass.
This load had a muzzle velocity of 2612 fps with a standard deviation of 19 fps. A 10-shot group fired from my Krieger barreled AR-15 had and extreme spread of 0.98” and a mean radius of 0.31”.

Yes. I lost mine but that was a test at a sniper instructor school I attended years ago. We did it with 308s. I assume a 556 will just make a smaller hole.
The wife wasn’t interested in a shot penny pendant on a chain so it went away.
A bit chilly at 23 degrees this morning with no wind.
Installed an H3 buffer which functioned fine.
Got to test out the battery assist lever from Tactical Link and am very pleased.
Used my brass catcher that I use for Bullseye pistol placed at 4 o’clock position and caught them all.
Looks to be my best target so far except for the #4 quarter I could feel that I eased up on the preload of the bipod just as the round went off.
Also glad that I kept the adjustable carbine stock instead of going with a fixed rifle stock cause I needed to collapse it one position to accommodate the extra clothing I was wearing to keep my head position on the stock in its proper place.
Precision shooters need to try this target.
It is not easy but very gratifying when you do everything right.

I am going to try again… I have found ( I think ) that if I sort the Fed. Tipped Varmint 50gr by weight groups do appear to tighten up. I seem to have more up and down “errors” then lateral after sorting by overall weight.
I realize this could be Voodoo ballistics… but I gives me hope
I could be wrong… but after shooting numerous “same” weight 10 shot groups v. un-weighed / random 10 shot groups… the weighed groups are tighter.
One typical target of 3 tried…( all the same lot # )
Groups at Bullseye left and right, 8:00 and 12:00 ( can’t quite see it all, my fault ) are weighed.
The 6:00 5 shot group is weighed
All others are random from the ammo can.
Appreciate the post. We never got this detailed and just ran 1 MOA counter clockwise adjustments to confirm zero.
