Problem with wolf?

Due to high ammo costs i have switched to steel cases. I my 308s they have been running fine. However i ran into an issue with the ar.

Gun is bcm 20"/bcm complete lower
Mags = pmag
Ammo = wolf military classic 55gr

The problem is that about 75% of the time i have to hit the forward assist to get the first round chambered. After that function has been 100% over the first 2.5 cases (about 1200runds). Does this with clean or dirty gun and does not do it with brass ammo at all

This issue doesnt really bother me with training/range ammo but if it is a sign of a major problem then i want to adress it.

Hey bud do a search on Wolf ammo here. ^^^^search button^^^^ There are a bazillion threads regarding this ammo type here and its issues etc.

When I wenth through the Colt Armorers class they recomended not using any steel cased ammo. YMMV

What was there reasons why not to use it?

Stands to reason that if so many threads exist, this bucket of yuck could have been added to one of them, instead of a new thread made.

…bearing in mind that this is the type of drivel that doesn’t justify a necropost, since it’s not new info or otherwise additive.
