powder baffle

Any one useing a rcbs powder baffle in their uniflow? Do they seem to help any? Or is this just a waste of 10 bucks?

My uniflow with the small drum throws pretty good on its own. But if they help , at least their cheap enough…

I use one and keep the powder level above it when using. It keeps a consistent pressure on the powder at the bottom of the uniflow to produce more consistent drops.

Same here on my Redding 3BR.

I can get one local,so i guess i will give one a try. The reviews were mixed but it seemed like most people were just saying what the baffle was for,not that they had any time useing one.

Thanks…

You may not see a noticeable/measureable difference. It’s more for peace of mind.

The negative reviews were probably from people trying to drop long, extruded powders from a powder thrower. Nothing can help those drop consistently. For short extruded and ball powders, I will always use one.

Lol, yes they were…

yep i gained a lttle more consistancy
