I’ve been impressed with them and have switched solely to the Vedder Light Tuck for all my IWB holsters.

Same here. I have switched to Vedder Lighttuck IWB holsters for all my guns. And Dara holsters for OWB.

Have to put the Big Bitch bacck into storage until my weak-side collarbone mends, which in humid PNW air means some kind of paint or coating against corrosion. Figured as long as I had to break out the Krylon why not ‘rough draft’ the final intended look.

Dumb question… given that the slide on the big bitch is carbon-steel, if you were trying to get a bright mirror finish like chrome and needed both “shave in the reflection” shine and durability, would you go Hard Chrome or something else?
I would probably kill myself, or someone else before I made a slide as shiny as possible. However, since that wasn’t your question, I would say to talk to the coatings specialists and ask them. They may very well tell you that their nickel has a more reflective nature, while another may tell you that hard chrome will do better.
All of them are going to tell you that the surface has to be mucho perfecto.
