Pictures from a recent Magpul Dynamics Precision Rifle course

Thanks to FromMyColdDeadHand for helping me with pics over this last series of classes (both running his camera and post processing pics … it’s a lot of work). I greatly appriciate all the time and effort, Brother!

Photos courtesy of FromMyColdDeadHand (please don’t steal his pics)

More pics to come, stay tuned, and check back daily

Jeff, the last pic is an SR25

My mistake. I was looking at the thumbnails, no the full sized pic when I copied the links. You are correct. Costa was running a Leupold 1.1-8x on the KAC SR25 and a NightForce 2.5-10x on the LaRue OBR.

Thanks for catching that

Great photos, keep 'em coming. I recognize the CQBSS because the weekend before it was living on my SR-25 EMC for a little while.

Thank you and FromMyColdDeadHand, for the photos!

A couple of pics down range. I could only get a 425 yard range for this class, but I didn’t hear anyone complaining about the lack of distance:

Nice pics, thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to read your write up.

I won’t be posting any AAR’s this year, Brother. Too busy … if it weren’t for the help of FromMyColdDeadHand, I wouldn’t have been able to post pics of the classes.

great pics, thanks.

can anyone else pick up the AAR?

Travis on the line … Whole bunch of awesome in this pic:

Shooting from the sitting:

What?!?!

Pointing at something down range (don’t remember what it was) … But I’ve got a LaRue OBR in my hands so I still look cool:

I think this was a .308 DPMS, but I can’t remember:

Looked liked a blast… were there allot of 20’’ rifles or 16’'??? Thanks for sharing the pics…

Kind of a general question 20" vs 16" barrels. Were you refering to a specific platform or all the guns in class?

yes sir…

1) Were you refering to a specific platform

or

 1. all the guns in class???

I’m very disappointed that you didn’t put up any pics of me… But for those that might miss me, here’s my first real post. Notice that Travis can hardly keep his eyes off of me.

Thanks for hosting the class, Jeff. It was a good time, and I look forward to more training with you and FromMyColdDeadHands and everybody else in the class…

I’m posting the pics in order in which they were taken and appear in the album. There are pics of you, sorry they were not posted sooner.

Updating these picture threads takes me about 2 hours a day, not to mention the dozens of hours that went into post processing the pictures.

I’m very disappointed that guys don’t appriciate all the hard work that goes into setting up and hosting classes … taking pics … post processing pics (Thanks again for all the help FromMyColdDeadHand) … and taking the time to update the picture threads 5 days a week.

I think he was being sarcastic (I hope so), and I enjoy seeing all your guy’s pics…makes me want to take a class! Relax man…

I’m 99% sure that S&S&S was joking about pics of him. Having talked to him at the class he is a shooter and a LEO, not a gun board guy- so his comment made in jest may have seemed a bit abrasive without a  at the end of it.

Jeff goes above and beyond in the volume and quality of his work for these classes. With all the threads and punks out there to regulate it would be very easy to not realize that S&S&S was joshing.

S&S&S put up with my Reno911 jokes until I was his shooting partner and I got a chance to see him shoot. I will not be getting out of line or doing any shenninigans in Reno- he can shoot!!

Thank you for the kind words, MCDH. I was being sarcastic, it’s true. Jeff, I’ve heard that too much time behind the scope in hot weather can be hard on a guy, and that the sense of humor goes first. Or is it good looks that go first, then sense of humor? :D:D:D

Also, I just noticed that the titles of the posts don’t always show up- and the title of the second post was “On a serious note…”
