Personal Check OK?

I just got my paperwork back form the CLEO approved:D. On, Monday the Form 1 (and uplicate) and other COC form will be off to the BATFE in WV for the approval…8-12 weeks

Will they take a personal check? Anything I should include on the check?

Serial # of the NFA item in the memo box, and make out to the entity indicated on the form.

No cover letter is needed and it will be cashed faster then the time it took you to write it. I think 8-12 weeks may be a fairly optimistic time frame with the backlog they are currently experiencing.

I feeling your pain as well. The dealer told me the bright side was that I would have mine well before Christmas…

The people at NFA have told me that US Postal money orders are processed like cash. Any other type of payment will delay things slightly for the funds to clear.
