I am about to paint my first AR. I am just gonna use Krylon so I can fix my screw ups easier. What I want to know is what do I need to make sure I tape off?
close the dust cover, tape your optics lenses off or anything your dont want paint on. Also paint the rifle with a magazine in the mag well so paint doesent get up in there, youll also have a mag to match the rifle’s color scheme. I paint most of my USGI mags to match my rifle and my black PMAGS… the others i leave alone because their already a similar color.

If possible, could you do a video? That’s would be in tall order rather than simply the picture shot by picture shot. Although they do “speak volumes” when it’s a show-and-tell!
