The free BCG and compensator were too good to pass up. I ordered this one. I’m going to order a BCM lower to go with it. I’m still debating between the stock trigger and one of the Geissele options. I’m not sure I shoot at the level of a custom trigger so that money might be better spent on ammo.
Spend the 65 buck for an ACT trigger.
Right now the only place I’ve found BCM lowers so far is G&R and the only trigger options are Geissele for $155 or more.
I am sure Grant would put it in if you don’t feel comfortable doing it.
+1 on the ALG trigger. I put one in my BCM and it has worked well for me. I have about 1000 rounds through the gun after the trigger install and have been very happy with it.
If you can swing the SSA-E or the SD-E, you will be very happy you did. Between these and a GI trigger is literally night and day.
I have the ACT and SSA in my 2 AR’s. Either will serve you well.
You don’t have to be a solid shooter to appreciate the SSA. If you can afford it, don’t hesitate.
If a sale I’m working on goes well this weekend I’ll probably be ordering

Does anyone know what the difference between " Standard " and "BFH "
is on the midlengths ?
I thought maybe it was the flash hider but they look the same .
Did you read the specifications listed for these on BCM’s site? If you did, you’ll see in bold text for the BFH uppers: “Specifications: Barrel, Forged, Hammer (BFH)”. The standard offerings are not hammer forged barrels.
