I haven’t really payed much attention to the rifle until now. American Rifleman (the NRA’s magazine) posted about the new Steyr AUG A3 SA USA model, so I looked into getting one. They want $2,000+ for the AUG, so I checked into the MSAR’s and they seem to be floating around the $1,000 mark. For the price, it looks decent.
That said, can anyone chime in about how the MSAR’s rate to the actual AUGs? Any discrepancies/flaws with the design? Any internal nuances? Etc. I’m just reserved about buying a clone at a price point you can’t even find a good AR for.
