I first heard about One Second After on this forum and it quickly became one of my favorite books. I even got to audio book to listen to on long car rides to see the family back in NJ.
Looks like Netflix is doing the movie. Principle photography ended in December of 2025 so it should be out in 2026.
Of course Netflix turned Makala, a blond White woman, black. I was shocked that they kept John White.

I first heard about One Second After from listening to Newt Gingrich. I didn’t read the book but did listen to audio versions of One Second After and One Year After on YouTube. It will get you thinking about the fragility of society.
