Old[er] ACOG and Tritium replacement

Bought a TA31H new in very late 2011. It is obviously not as bright as it used to be and was wondering about having it “re-charged” or whatever they do. Without even calling Trijicon (I know, mea culpa) I have read to expect somewhere in the neighborhood of $600-ish? Anyone have it done?

I am not sure about that model but I had an old Reflex sight recharged a few years back for $175. You go online and fill out a return request form and they will tell you how much,

I had my TA-11 RDoD relit about 8 years ago before I sold it a few years ago while it was still bright. It was around $175ish plus shipping as mentioned about IIRC. No idea if they still do that or not, I went away from ACOGs.

This was for an April 2024 TA01Tritium re-lamping. It was a little expensive in that I replaced the centimeter coin-slot elevation and windage adjusters, changing to 1/2 minute click turrets. They changed the 5.56 BDC to 7.62 for free.

Bottom line – a tritium re-lamping was under $300. Took three weeks.

I have some that are getting older now and am not looking forward to paying to have them recharged. I’ve started purchasing the LED versions whenever possible, but the models are pretty limited.
