I picked up a Noveske upper today. The seller claimed it was a take-off from the Limited Edition Magpul rifle (yea, I asked- he sold the lower for $2000) . To me the upper looks like the 16" Lo-Pro Recce model, though the CH does not appear to be BCM. Is there anything “special” about this upper or was it just a stock part added to the Magpul lower to create a complete rifle.
Put some pics up and we’ll weigh in.

The Magpul lower is what made these rifles special. The upper is the same as on other Noveske rifles - great uppers but nothing limited in terms of features or availability about them.
For a brief time , it had an intimate relationship being mounted on top of a highly desirable piece of hardware. Other than that, nothing special.
Mine are still mates!
Thank you gentlemen. I had the feeling that the answer would be my latter assumption in my OP. Fortunately, my 16" middy collection stands at 4 now including a nice Noveske barreled upper that Grant was kind enough to put together for me, a BCM SS w/ PRI and an KAC SR15. I understand, of course, that 2 is always better than one when it comes to these type of things however four seems like a crowd and this piece may become the odd man out. Follow ups: while I certainly can’t complain at what I currently have, 4 similar style uppers does seem to be over kill. Can I get an opinion on which upper is now the “odd man out” and what to replace it with? I have and SBR lower and a Colt commando so my “shorty” is covered and I consider the SS BCM as something I can rely on for “longer” shots (I won’t make its past 350 yards in all liklihood) I am considering 2 options: replacing the barrel on this new N4 with a 300blk simply for its ease of use with my existing magazines and supressor or a nice 6.8 build to use for hunting out west. Sorry to stray from topic, I can start a new post in a different section of the forum if needed. Thank you
Had one, sold it. The charging handle was a standard CH. Also, the FH wasn’t a Smith Vortex like they usually put on, it was a AAC Blackout
