If he signs is, there goes his chances completely.
And it will probably pass as the liberals these days have been let off the leash.
That fat slob can sign it while licking Obama’s smelly kenyan nuts.

So my Marlin Model 60 will be an assualt rifle. Cool!
Like many red states we have our misguided fools in office and unfortunately due to the population densities in certain cities too much clout comes from the minority vote here like anywhere else. But maybe for a dose of reality have a look at this venue if you aren’t above doing so:
Also note that while he is not my ideal candidate I think most of you come off as arrogant asses pounding Christie because for one he will not approve this and at the very least the majority of our population voted Republican for governor rather than democrat in a blue state.
But since the simple minded choose only to see the bad while pointing feeble fingers I’ll reference the fellow in AZ who supposedly spawned this bill. You know, the one who used his high capacity mags to help ruin shit for everyone else. Oh and also the congresswoman who is now one of the biggest and most respected advocates for gun control, also from AZ.
Could go on about Sheila Jackson Lee, Alan Greyson, Harry Reid (pro-gun but a huge threat to the nation overall), Mike DeWine (R.-Ohio), Diana DeGette (D.-Colo.), Mike Castle (R.-Del.), but hell you don’t want to hear about them because it clarifies how small and meaningless your point really is.
It said nothing about a grandfather clause.
Thank you sir! I’m not a bag fan of Christi and may not vote for him on a national level, but at least he Vetoed a bunch of crap anti-gun legislation this year. I have to think he will Veto this f he has any national aspirations.
Because there isn’t one…
I’m in management - that’s a labor problem. ![]()
I could never sit here and say with any genuine conviction that a good part of the northeast in general along with CA are not the most politically anti-2A regions of the nation. And no, it isn’t all the minorities in the cities drafting and voting for further restrictions because in this area too many suburbanites are antis as well.
But Alex as you well know there are roughly one million legal gun owning citizens in NJ alone as well who’s voices have been subdued. Yes, we have work to do in order to get more of the general populace on our side but that doesn’t mean there isn’t an army of us here who care and are getting fed up with even the idea of more restrictions. Not only that but we’re fighting legally for the right to carry and at some point we do expect to win.
Yesterday would be great but we’ll get there. Meantime at least a million of us are willing to stand up here, perhaps often in the shadows, and keep fighting for justice. When we succeed it will only add to the notion that people everywhere are getting sick and tired of being pushed around by their over-bloated legislators.
Safety, I agree that we are not all crazy Libs looking to ban guns and hand out subsidies, but we are essentially one good apple ruined by a bushel full or rotten ones. Yes, there is a million or so of us, and on paper we should be a force when it comes to voting, but we seem to make no dents.
SCOTUS kicked us in the nuts on Monday, and the idea of CCW in NJ is all but dead until the cases in Hawaii and Cali percolate through to make a true Circuit Split. This could take years ![]()
The NRA gave up on us, and the SAF may as well after Monday. Who knows. The rest of the country gave up on us long ago as seen by the posts above.
So many guns so few politicians.
