I have a UPIN too. Still, if you want things to go well and faster, include both the UPIN and SSN on any and all firearms purchases.
I have been denied a firearm purchase twice with the UPIN only (and CCW license). Luckily both times I was able to get on the phone with the “denying” agent and they approved the purchase.
Damn. I’ve not yet been denied a firearms purchase, but I was getting killed with delays. My CCW squashed that crap. But I must have got the speshul needs examiner on my 9mm can F4. Typical of my luck, of course.
I should already be bored with this can by now.
The kicker was the guy at the dealer said my can was still in the store and available. WTF? Luckily Silencer Shop’s process doesn’t list the SN on my can as available. It’s still tied up to my denial F4.
Silecer Shop finally re-created my order. I’m back at the Certify stage, then submit to ATF again.
As nice as the kiosk is, it put Silencer Shop into the middle of a local purchase of an in stock can.
