On some lights yes. The point where the light goes to constant on is different based on the thread tolerance, spring tension, etc inside the light. We’ve found some that allow constant on to be maintained, and some where constant on is no longer accessible.
Unfortunately, it isn’t something we can predict for your specific light as it’s a matter of tolerances in the lights themselves.
If you have something like an EAG Fury with a clickie constant on, you will maintain that ability with this clip.
Glad you guys like them so far. We are quite happy with them.
Please post back with pics/thoughts once you’ve had a chance to use the clips. They are quite burly and compliment the ruggedness of Surefire lights very well.
It’s always humorous to me when big companies don’t understand how end-users use their products, and the little guy has to fix their problems for them.
Hell of a product guys, if I was still carrying a SF light I would be all over it.
Tom, this is awesome, and your timing could not be better. I was in a pistol class last weekend, and one of the other shooters was using a Surefire Fury. We were both bemoaning the lack of a pocket clip. I’m emailing him a link to this, and ordering a pair for myself.
And I’m enough of a gearwhore to love the little Raven logo as well.
Outstanding idea…I’m a little late, but just discovered from the announcement at Soldier Systems. I was just looking for a better carry method for my extra SF Fury w/ clicky tail cap. Bravo, simple and very functional.
Based on my experience with each it should work without issue. I can confirm next week as I’ll have the chance to try the clip on a Z59 equipped light.
Man Ive been wanting one of these for years! Always wondered why someone didn’t start making these.
Just ordered one and am looking forward to it. Ill try it out, and if I like it Ill get a couple more.
Just took delivery of my clip…sweet, works great with the SF clicky on my tactical Fury.
Question for Tom: The split on the ring for attachment, was this for a break away should the clip be caught on something or to accommodate a few light body sizes? Just curious…
