I am anxious to get one of these. I think it will replace my Rescue Hook and my Leatherman on my rigs all in one tool.
It’s able to be used for type ate malfunctions as well.

What ever happened to the Multitasker tool that was very popular for a few months, and now has gone off the radar? It was designed in the US, but made in China. The last buzz was that the stock wrenches were braking, but that it was only intended for emergency use.
VTAC had it branded with their name, yet I can’t find it at their site.
Maybe the first batch had issues?
I know we discussed it here in the past and I think the maker even posted a few times.
IN I think that tool was discussed on WEVO. I saw one at SHOT when it came out and frankly thought it was really good at being half-assed at a lot of things.
Someone from Multitasker was active on multitool.org. Here’s a thread that revolved around their tool. I haven’t read it in a while, so I don’t know if there is very much in the way of useful info.

Anyone want a used Leatherman Charge? 
Damn it. The last Leatherman I wanted was the Skeletool. This is the exact opposite and I want this too!
This will be replacing my Skeletool CX. I can’t wait!!!
I have a Skeletool that I carry around the house, but I think this new one is going to be big, even bigger than the Wave I’m thinking.
It’s a definite must-have for me. Pricey, though but I’ll still snag one.
Slight hijack. Buy whatever with confidence. Week and a half ago I sent a 15 or so year old Supertool in having broken the saw blade, chewed up the wire cutters on high tensile barbed wire and broken the small screwdriver they returned a brand new super tool by return mail that is a considerable upgrade from the original. Leatherman is good to go:D

Better late than never? 
Our Gen2 AR Multitasker (which will have BILLET pliers that are CNC machined) are slated for June 2010 delivery; Brownells will have initial allocation - look for reviews online soon.
In addition, there will be 2 new AR-specific Multitaskers, with very different form factors from their big brother.
I honestly feel that our feature set (which includes a 2-prong backup castle nut wrench, a removable A2 front sight adj tool and an OTIS compatible 8-32 male thread) is what the serious AR user wants - and needs.
