Well my ever faithfull troy built gun has finally seen its better days i think
a ton of keyholing rounds at 0-100 yards gun has about 5k- through it maybe a few more…
any thoughts on a new one?
5k rounds and the barrel is shot out? Seems like a low number unless they were all F/A.

I re-checked it about 10+k wrong gun.

Try removing the flash hider and cleaning off all the carbon out that’s between the flash hider and the muzzles crown (soak in Slip2000 carbon cutter if its really bad). I find this a common problem when people complain of keyholing, so much carbon that the bullets are hitting it while passing by the crown. Clean it up and it may shoot like a new barrel. Also a good time to clean the bore with Sweets 7.62.
