Need help identifying old ammo and a magazine

Does anybody recognize this headstamp or the magazine that contained the ammo?

Could this probably be a Mauser G-43 magazine? Where did you find it, the Ardennes?

looks like maybe turkish or syrian or persian ammo in a G43 magazine. I wanna say Turkish. BTDT

That´s it. I don´t know why I didn´t think of the G43, there weren´t that many magazine fed rifles back then…

A friend of mine found this thing on an old farm in the north of the country. There´s a lot of that kind of stuff just rotting away in old barns and attics of older buildings. I´ve heard stories of people from that region finding everything from 1911 pistols to German machine guns.

This is definitely a G43 magazine. Ironically, I know this because I had one myself in a junk drawer for at least 10 years before I researched and figured out what it was!
