Great looking rifle. I’d say try the SOPMOD before swapping it out they are great stocks.

Its about 7000 miles away from me right now so I cant be exact but i dont recall myself thinking that it was all that heavy, and seemed to balance out really well. 8-9 pounds maybe.
I guess my comment on research wasnt so much as to which one, (i will be opting for the KAC) but more along the lines of acquisition, maintenance, and just an overall insight into them. It will be the first one that I buy, so my experience is practically nil. I have a pretty good guy to help me along with the paperwork, but there is always more knowledge to be gained:D

I have not shot the MAMS, but from what I know - everybody who has shot the MAMS regrets not waiting for it. I know I regret buying two more damn suppressors.
Stupidity time: The day after my form(s) clear on my QDSS-NT4(s) they announce the motherfucking 5.56N MAMS system.
So now, I am sad.
But, sadder still, I have not shot Knight’s new suppressors.

I was one of the lucky ones that got to shoot the new system and I’m personally glad I waited (only due to lack of funds) to get a can for my EMC. The CQB version is perfect for the EMC. The only thing that sucks is that KAC stated that they are going to release the 5.56 version first commercially and I’m pretty sure with the Mil contracts I think they have, the 7.62 versions may go to fill those orders first…
All the more time for me to save up for an EMC lower, and EMR upper.
