I have decided to start my first build and would appreciate any and all suggestions. My plans for this build are recreational range use, SHTF, and possibly take it through a class or two. I want to build this rifle on as tight of a budget as possible without sacrificing dependablity, reliability and performance. This will be a secondary rifle as I already have a DDM4v4, Colt 6450, and S&W 15-22. Parts that I have in mind for this are PSA lower, with a Colt, DD, or BCM BCG and CHF CL barrel 16" mid length gas with LP block in 5.56. I haven’t decided on a lower parts kit yet. I currently have a stripped upper that I picked up for $20 while at the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot in October. From what I understand it is a DS Arms/Brass Aluminum Forgings Enterprises piece and should be fine. If I am mistaken, please let me know and pics of it are below.

Thanks guys! I believe I have made up my mind on a DD BCG and DD barrel. I currently have a DDM4 and could not be happier with it so I will stick with a good thing. I have not made a decision on what LPK to go with yet but I am leaning towards the PSA GMOE LPK with the Geissle SSA trigger.
