My Bill Wallace Impression...

These are from a “driveway dojo” session about 5 years ago. In the photos are myself, Mike Allen (First Generation Ed Parker Black Belt) and a personal student (began training with me in 1990) during a brief encounter.

I (grey shirt) attempt a front leg side kick which my student (red shirt) leg checks and attacks with a front leg roundhouse kick forcing me to circle around his attack with a front leg hook kick.

The real Bill would smack you down (yeah, I remember that thread where you were at his seminar!).

Looks like your student just barely ducked/blocked the hook.

Not completely.

Glancing blow? Even that to the head can set you up for a quick follow-up shot while he is momentarily stunned. In the true Wallace form you did a multiple-kick while on one foot and staying that way…great balance and flexibility!

Actually he got pinged pretty good. To his credit he kept his balance while on one leg as well, even after getting tagged.
