So I’ve had my Gen1 Glock 17 for quite some time now, but I’ve never really given thought to mounting a light on it, because of it’s lack of an accessory rail. If I wanted to mount a Surefire X300 on there, is there a way to do it securely?
Check out Robar, I’ve heard alot of good things about this company but have never used them personally. They can modify the frame dustcover with cuts / slots so it is similar to the Gen 3 guns w/ rail, then you can mount your light on it easily.
This may work for you, the CAA Glock Rail Adapter.
