Hey guys, just a quick question. Anybody doing business with Mars Armament have trouble getting in touch with them lately? I’ve been trying to contact Steve for about two weeks now with no luck. I know he runs a small shop, was just curious if anything has happened that I’m not aware of.

FWIW, we’ve had great contact through the early stages of my build, and comms have been outstanding. They’ve just broken down since I spoke to him about two weeks ago, and wanted to check with you guys for any insight.

Got a call from Steve yesterday - I know they’re busy, and that ATM the online store is still a work in progress, they’re there at the shop working, might just be odd timing. They’re on MST, which might explain some of that.

Figured it would be something along those lines. Steve is a very busy man. I left a few messages for him so I’m sure he’ll call me back when he gets the chance. Just got a little worried.

In my experience e-mail has been the best way to communicate with Steve. He always repsonds promptly.

I’m sure I’ll speak with him soon enough. Just wanted to make sure nothing big came up with his shop. I appreciate the responses fellas

Just text him. That’s what I do.

Steve called me today, my pistol should be back in my hands within the next month. Once he gets started on your pistol, he’s pretty good about calling with regular updates.

Same here, spoke to Steve today as well. Looking forward to getting my pistol back in a couple weeks. He will definitely call you when your build is under way.

Yeah, I emailed him a couple of days ago and got a response. Can’t wait for mine!

Oh, and it’s an Axiom build on my 1911. Hit me up via PM before Labor Day weekend, I’ll be available to come down around Portland to let you shoot it.

Oh man, that’s just mean. I sent one of the recent Colt 1911 Replica’s to him for an axiom, and I think I’ve got a looong way to go. Lemme know if you’re in Portland. We can team that up with my Berryhill AFP.

I’m up by Fort Lewis, but that’s close enough for a shooting trip. Especially if I get to shoot a Berryhill 1911.

I dropped mine off right around the same time. Hopefully it won’t be much longer for mine.

ETA - Steve is swamped trying to hit some deadlines, in case anyone has had the same issue

Steve called me again yesterday. It seems like once every two weeks when he starts on it is about right.
