Market for semi-auto .357, .44 mag, or .50 AE rifle?

I think a market exists. A semi auto carbine more powerful than 10mm / .45 acp but remaining safe for pistol ranges and suitable for suppressors.

Yes, i know about the old Rugers.

Those “seem” fairly popular, but Ruger tends to stick with stuff that sells fairly well and discontinue stuff that doesn’t so maybe not.

I think I mentioned here the other day that a .44spl/mag bolt action American might sell well considering in theory it would be marketable to suppressor enthusiasts, straight wall only deer hunting states, and hog hunters, but the only time I recall seeing something along those lines was a custom shop 77/44 with integral suppressor.

Damn Ron, after unobtainium again?

Other than those old Rugers you’re pretty much SOL. I am not aware of any semi auto carbines chambered in any of those cartridges.

I did hear tell of someone converting M1 carbines to 50AE, but I have never seen one. I also heard they have a tendency to spontaneously disassemble themselves in a violently spectacular fashion (IE: KABOOM!).

Yup!

I think i should send my ideas to Kel-tec! Or hire an engineer.

That would get something interesting and developed to a point where it mostly works.
