People might rightly decry apartheid, but they ignore the rampant tribalism that apartheid was a response to. Conflicts in Africa are rarely about freedom. They began with colonialism to attempt to pacify a savage population. The response was “kick out the white man” anti colonial wars. But instead of having peace when the colonies were no more, they simply returned to savagery and all that it brings with it like death, disease and famine.
But if you point out the obvious, people will ask what dry cleaner you use for your KKK robe. I only wish communism had been more successful in Africa. A brutal state power is exactly what much of the population of Africa deserves. It would make Apartheid look like Disneyland in comparison.

You should read the crimes he was actually indicted on. Two of them were possession of over 250k explosive devices including grenades and AP mines, and 193 acts of terrorism. To answer your question I would say who can maintain a Civil attitude and measured hand when it comes to killing your apponent and stop by when it’s done. Furthermore not trying to force an idea down other people’s throat. Fighting for your own and others who agree is one thing but not when you have to force a bunch of your own to go with it at the same time.

May as well look up what some of the major cities in SA are like as well. Capetown is the nicest but Johannesburg…and you all think Detroit looks bad. Some of Mandela’s exploits during his younger years, before prison, have me siding with the OP.
The Continental Army still fought on the ‘gentleman’s rules’ of warfare which is the exact opposite of what Mandela did. The Revolutionary War was also fought mostly by whites against whites. Indians and blacks played a limited role. Mandela was very racist towards whites and even though apartheid was racially based his ideology was based on being anti-white (and communist).
Not all revolutions are equal just for the sake of being a revolution.
