Great rifles, I think I’ll probably end up getting a 5C2, closed bottom port, with a crowned end. My original desire to get an issue style with an A-2 flash hider having been foiled by the ATF (nevermind the Army still thinks I can have one…), I may as well just get the crowned version, the regular one, with the closed end just kind of looks “off” to me, since it’s clearly not issue, but it is kind of reminiscent. Might also look into 14.7" barrels, but I haven’t seen a lot of those offered.
