LWT BCM vs N4.... weight difference?

I have tried to research the weight saving of a lightweight upper over the standard “government profile”.

If I was to buy a LWT upper, my first choice would be the M4 LWT BCM upper. I presently own an N4.

Is there much of a weight difference between an N4 upper and a LWT BCM upper?

Researching has turned up comments of 3-4 ounces. That really doesn’t seem to be much in regard to choosing one over the other.

I figured this site provides a better representation of “experts”.

So, what’s the weight difference? Thanks.

We have both here and while I don’t know how many ounces it is, I find it pretty noticeable to the light advantage of the BCM with LW barrel. OTOH, if I only could have one, it would be the N4 barrel for all it’s noticeably superior precision.
